i agree with every suggestion made EXCEPT for the ones for the brides. in their heart of hearts most brides want what they have registered for or a gift certificate from that store...unless you are told secifically otherwise. they have spent a lot of time thinking this through and PICKING OUT WHAT THEY WANT and for me to decide they really must want something else and just don't know it....i remember my 2 daughters and daughter-in-law wondering why someone wouldn't give something off the registery. those gifts usually wind up in a "re-gift" pile or returned for the money to get something off the registery. most brides DO pick out many items that are not expensive as well as larger ones friends may go in together to purchase. please forgive my strong opinion on this! i'm at the age where my children and very many of my friends' children are getting married and this is a hot topic! thanks for "listening" lisa clay
