I'm going to write a blog about what you're talking about. Our church just finished a 5 week series on Money and God opened my eyes to the war between serving God or Money.
I personally feel that credit cards should not be encouraged by churches in giving. The only plastic that should be used in online give is if it's tied to a checking account.
We are being bad stewards if we fall into the worldly system of credit card purchasing. I have had to war against this in my own life and am paying a high price for my lack of wisdom.
