Your Credit Score — And How to Improve It

Please do what the author says and check your credit report. I checked mine immediately and found I was in collections by the hospital from a visit by my former husband. The hospital had my old insurance information and he didn't tell them any different because he was uninsured and wanted treatment. Because insurance was terminated and didn't pay, the hospital put ME in collections. The on-line dispute form was easy to complete and the credit agency is going to contact the hospital collections for me. Bottom line - Check it out, you don't know what's there until you do!
