It may be prudent also to consider the everyday spending - and not just the topic of investment.

There may be a need to get Christians to think about living within their means - and not on credit like most Americans. This may mean using second hand cars, repairing and using what they already have instead of replacing something the first time it stops working, not using a credit card, saving up money in deposits instead of investing all of it in the stock market, buying things that last longer, not being too fashion conscious and changing the wardrobe to reflect the latest fad etc.

Not living under the burden of debt will drastically reduce tensions and improve the quality of life. It is sad that most Christians especially in the west don't seem to realize this simple truth but would rather spend more money on self-help books, seminars etc which don't work.
