Hey my name is Daniel Paul Friedemann 20 years old north california. I've been out of a job since june. I've been in interviews with apple bees, wells fargo, burger king, blockbuster a few times, and thats it and still no job. well the burger king that I had an interview with was impressed by my interview and put me on the top of the list but their full so this is a waiting game and I found this out 2 months ago and still the same. KRCR Channel 7 in production is full but i'm on their top list. Blockbuster said no to me. I was in a group interview 2weeks ago and there was about six of us and they had four interviews I gave it my best showed my great enthusiasm and customer exp at chick fill a but in the end they said the other four were more qualified. I got angry at god even called him and idiot and threw my bible down in frusteration But i've been a christian since i've been 8years old. So after a few days of hearing that I told myself where will I turn am I going to take my life...

I learned this 14 months ago.

It was about 9 days before my next welfare check was due, and I received a letter stating that the monies I'd gotten three weeks earlier were the last I was going to get.

OK, panic. My pastor and a couple other people were informed where to find me if my panic and anxiety disorders got the better of me -- the local mental hospital. Next, I "shotgunned" the problem with Social Services; I called my worker, her boss, and filed for an appeal hearing. I also called my therapist.

My SS worker got the money flowing again the next day. By the time her boss called me, I was able to compliment my worker! I withdrew the request for an appeal hearing.

My therapist got back to me a week later, asking "What do you expect me to do?" We'll omit my sarcastic answer here.

Boy, when I need to depend on "the Lord will provide, He's right there with the eagles' wings!"

You can't scare me now. You've got economic disaster; I've got Jesus!

Good reminder to us all Cortni! Another reason to not be fearful in this economic down turn is that fear inactivates our faith. Fears also have a nasty way of coming to pass - Job 3:25 is an example - he states "for the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me." We forget this part of the story, Satan knew what fears Job had voiced, how else would he know what to use against him? When we forget God has it all in control, everything begins to spiral down hill - thank you for the reminder that God has it all handled!
