Tired of paying big bucks for those creamy "no abrasion" stainless steel sink cleaners that are chuck full of chemicals? Try using a sponge and some baking soda.

Baking soda costs about 50 cents for a one-pound box (about 3 cents an ounce); plus it's environmentally friendly and easier on your skin. In contrast, a 26-ounce bottle of creamy chemicals costs about $2.90 (about 12 cents per ounce).
