Cornell students are not required to read great literature and their English degrees are USELESS! And this scenario is repeated.

There is a sinister reason why there has been a decline in reading literature, especially among the young 20somethings. It's called "College." Let me provide an example: Cornell University in New York. Now about five years ago, there were approximately 46 English faculty at Cornell. When one reads the names and expertise these people have one is struck hard by the complete lack of "English coursework" offered. Shockingly, there was not one professor who held him/herself out as a Shakespeare scholar! Not one professor with a background in the greatest writer in English language if not the world. It's like teaching an automotive mechanics class without ever mentioning the motor! And neither is there an American or British lit scholar in the pack! So what field of expertise do these people claim? Why, Marxism, Marxist Theory, feminism and feminist theory.
Marxist "scholars" have invaded the English Departments of many universities and by design. Antonio Gramsci, Georg Luckacs are why
