It is important to note that it doesn't have to be a leap-year for Easter to fall on 22 March (The year 1818 was not a leap-year.) It is March 20th (not March 21st) that's the "nominal" date of the equinox that the date of Easter goes by, not the fluctuating "astronomical" equinox year to year (which is usually on March 20th anyway, leap-year or no leap year.)

Also being that all Jewish holidays look forward to Christ when calibrated in truth. The Hebrew calender should have never been replaced.

The Gregorian calender seems to fit some Masonic objective and also does not seem to be just a coincidence that the Bible speaks specifically about the changing of times and dates. Such things do warp ones perception of reality. Thus giving the people the that change the times and dates the idea that they are gods them selves.

Interesting article. One thing though. Passover will be celebrated by the Jews on April 19 (Saturday) since a new day starts at night and ends before the next night. There is also a concession for some to celebrate Passover on Sunday but the traditional time to celebrate will be on the evening of April 19.

I am concerned about the mention that there is a whiff of pagan influence in using the sun and the moon to determine the calendar of the religious Jewish festivals.

Do you also have any articles/historical information about why Easter is celebrated by Christians at a time that is different from when Jews celebrate Passover?

Since Jews also use a lunar and solar calendar to determine their festivals, how come we are not celebrating on the same dates?

Thank you,
