What a great article. Well said. Unfortunately she is right. I have been guilty of that very same thing. Coming from a fundamentalist background where everything was very strict, I fell into that mindset that I was more spiritual than others. And it was on women wearing pants, men having pierced ears, having a tv in the home, contemporary music etc. I realized after coming out of the fundamental church movement that it isn't worth argueing about this stuff. No one is going to hell because she is wearing pants. The church I belonged to used to chase away visitors to our church unknowingly when they were so severe on standards. What is important is our relationship with God and our families. Each person is responsible for our own families. Thanks for pointing these things out.
