This and the previous article are quite disturbing. There is some good advice. My frustration as a Pastor and a parent (whose three children are "on the path")is the number of assumptions that are made re parenting based on the Biblical text. The assumption is diligent parenting (and he defines this by adding his own personal beliefs/standards) = successful parenting; children who are no longer "on the path" are the result of "slack" parenting. This article is not well researched nor does it do the text justice. How can a baby be addicted to rock music, television and dirty movies? Where is there research to substantiate that?
This type of parenting advice is neither biblical nor helpful.
