This is one of the most ridiculous articles I have recently read. To expect a 12-year-old to act like you think Jesus did is just plain nonsense. Jesus was God. And to demand that a child be totally committed to God before he turns 13 is controlling and liable to create a false exterior and a child riddled with undeserved guilt. As parents, we do our part. It is up to the Lord and our child whether he follows the Lord Jesus when he is grown. I am tired of the homeschool community's determination to create a "product", instead of obeying what God has called us to do, then leaving the results to Him.
