Marriage is more spirital than anything. We all know God created Male and Female, we also so know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. His laws and statues will Not changed for any of Us !

There are two types of mariage regardless of gay or straight; 1.) marriage between the man, woman and God, and 2.) marriage contract betweena couple and the sovereign state (evidenced through a marriage license.) There was marriage before the state of California, Texas etc. began the BUSINESS of marriage licensing. If a couple wishes to marry, they simple make an agreement between themselves and God. Homosexuals need not apply because God already stated that homosexuality is a sin. That leaves the marriage with the state (the other god, or sovereign that God said we are not to have - Commandment #1). homosexuals are free to marry under this contract but notice that it is a contract with another god.

Believers in the God of Abraham, Iassac and Jacob have no business bowing down to other sovereigns (law makers) so option #2 is forbidden. You need not get "permission" to marry from Ceasar!

We can justify locking gay couples out of marriage by looking in the bible where it stats in Mark 10:6-9 that "marriage is the union of one man and one women". I don't think we should treat gays any different in any other way, I think we should even allow them the same legal rights as married couples, but we cant call it a marriage, because marriage is clearly defined in the bible.

I'll start by saying this is an wonderful article that I really hope all young people will take seriously. There is absolutely in it that I could possibly object to.

I do have a concern about what has not been said, questions that remain unanswered. If marriage is such a necessary, healthy, and desirable state, how can we possibly justify locking gay couples out of it? How can we, claim that unmarried cohabiting couples are worse off then married couples on any number important statistics. Then turn around and claim gay couples are not really committed and do not deserve the benefits of marriage because their relationships are not as healthy as married couples on those same important statistics.
