How unfair to be rolling along fat, dumb and happy (or so I thought), only to be confronted with a count(!) of transgressions, none of which I recall. "Oh, I didn't want to start a fight, so I let it pass."
Apparently, now she does want to start a fight, when I am unable to muster historical facts?
What I let pass, I do not remember later. And I have yet to meet a woman who does not have a "little black book" listing my sins.
What a lovely time bomb to bring to the relationship, ladies--even if I think all is well because there's been no discussion or argument otherwise, I might merely be looking at a latent argument waiting to explode.
Note to self: cancel matchmaking memberships; check phone book for monasteries.
