Though I agree that this article can go both ways and should, we as men need to start taking accountability for our actions alone. We cannot keep blaming our wives, even if they are wrong. We are ultimately held accountable for our actions, not others. We must become the best men that God intended us to and I think this article helps to understand how we can become better husbands in some areas. I truly believe in the word, and if we truly have Christ as our head, then eventually the wives will follow suit, but not until then. And if they dont, then thats their problem and they will have to answer to God about that. Just do our part cause only God has the power to change others!

I can't wait for your follow up article, "Four Ways Wives Can Improve Their Marriages". Each of the 4 topics can also be applied to wives, so maybe a better approach is to get agreement from both parties. I have noticed that most women today are even more "self-centered", requiring all the attention to be on themselves. There is less "respect" of wives for their husbands, since our "secular" culture portrays women doing everything "better", with a high level of disdain for the husband in the process. Wives need to do a little soul searching (and prayer) themselves, and determine if they are putting forth the same effort and respect in their marriages. The husband is not always the one not holding up their side of the relationship.
