I would like to know what the author thinks about those of us that are older, with grown children and not entering into marriage for the first time. I'm a widow in my 50's and while I'm not considering marriage at this time, I think it only fair that my assets would go to my children upon my death, and those of my husband to his children.

My grandmother died a while back. After a few years my grandfather remarried. The woman then became extremely abusive and caused him so much emotional harm that he came down with bleeding ulcers. While he was in the hospital she auctioned off all of his property except the house and car. He died shortly after that and she got all of his money.

Wouldn't a Pre-Nup have protected him?

I like the article because it is helping the young people to build their marriages on Jesus Christ who is the solid foundation. this will ensure along lasting marriage.

God Bless
