Indeed it is imperative that you both agree to have the Lord first and foremost in the marriage in order for it to succeed.

My husband and I have an understanding because we do part-time missionary work, that it's not just about us. Our ministry plays a HUGE part in both our lives and it is also at stake if our marriage is.

We work much harder at resolving our conflicts immediately because there is allot to be done for the least of thee.

I agree 100% with this article. When God is invited into any area of our lives, He will guide us every step of the way. The word of God lets us know that if we acknowledge God in all our ways, He will direct our paths Pr. 6:5,6.

With so many marriages falling by the wayside, if we trust in the Lord, and follow His instructions, we will make it out all right. Thank you for this very well done article.
