As an adoptive mother, I found this film to portray adoption in a negative light. I kept looking at my daughter, age 6, throughout the movie to gauge her reaction. After being left on the door-step of the orphanage, this poor boy is rejected time after time by "normal" prospective adoptive families. I think you will hear outcries from the adoption community on this one!

I really disagree with this review. The Robinsons was very confusing for my 3 kids (10, 7 and 4) and I found it overly stimulating. It was pure cacophony at times. Not a good film.

I am very upset that I took my 6 and 4 year olds to see the Robinsons. After reading the Crosswalk review I felt safe, but I didn't think the movie was safe at all. Aside from being far too scary and dark, it was at times too violent and overstimulating. The language should have been mentioned: "IDIOT", "SHUT UP" "HATE" freely circulate. That is not ok with every family and I am disappointed that it didn't get mentioned on this website. It is exactly what I am checking for when I go to this website BEFORE we are all wedged in at the movies!

Wonderful film on many levels. The animation was superb, and the story was moving. I really enjoyed this one!!

This was a wonderful film. I "previewed" it before taking a friend's 7-year-old daughter to see the film. I enjoyed this movie because it was inspirational and was a source of encouragement. When I saw the film for the first time, I was surprised at how touched I was in the tender moments. I did have a few tears flow. The second time I saw it, I still teared up! It was a great film about not being perfect and celebrating failed attempts as that effort paves the road to success. It's something that even adults need to be reminded as they go through life!
