Needless to say, I am glad the scene went by too fast for my kids to pick up, but I will not be buying this movie. And they will not be seeing it unless I can stop it and pass over that scene.

I took my kids to see this movie and overall,it was a great movie. But there was a scene that really disturbed me.After Remi gets stuck in the rain and seperated from his family. When he decides to climb up from the sewers. It happened so fast and yet I caught it and could not believe it was in a kids movie. He is climbing up a building through walls and pipes. He is traveling past little holes in the walls and you can see scenes into different apartments in the building in the back ground. Each apartment is really a really quick view of the life of humans in france. But in one apartment as remi runs by there is a couple argueing. The woman is holding a gun and the man and her are verbaly fighting and he is telling her not to shoot and things like you wouldn't remi runs by and after being past the hole a gun goes off,you see a bullet quickly come up through the area Remi is running through and he manages to avoid it,he runs back and the couple is kissing. This should not be in a kids movie!!

Well, now that you've got me all fired up to rent the movie, let me return the favor!

Rats make incredible pets! Yeah, I wouldn't have thought so, either, until I got to play with someone else's pet rats!

All for the greater glory of God!

Great review. Ratatouille is my favorite film of 2007 so far. Not only was it entertaining but I was especially moved by the message of seeking excellence.

Yes, yes, yes. This is a wonderful family film, with a beautiful ending. I love Brad Bird's "The Iron Giant," and although I found "The Incredibles" incredibly clever and fun, none of Bird's films has *moved* me as "Ratatouille" did. Also, the movie is simply smashing on a visual level. This is the best film of the summer, and a strong contender for best film of the year.
