We want our "boys" to grow up to be good men....if that is the case then our parents need to do a better job raising our "boys". Let's not cop out and blame Hollywood or video games for our children's behavior.

I used to smoke cigarettes and it took me 10 yrs to finally quit. Should I get lung cancer one day, it is my fault for smoking. However in this society, I can blame the tobacco company because they made me smoke??

The point is, I grew up watching movies that maybe I should not have watched. I played video games too. But the difference was having a solid family structure. I grew taking responsibility for my actions. And for all of those who doubt me, I was raised Catholic (oh my,I am a Christian too!)

In response to reilyk5's comments. I'm sorry, but here's a newsflash. When it comes to the trash that comes out of Hollywood and so many people saying this is good, this is a great movie, you have to be able to go somewhere to get an "honest" review" of a movie. Especially since most of the "other" movie critics are paid by the producers. If you want to bash Christianity or being honest about the garbage that is supposed to be "entertaining", go somewhere else instead of cluttering a GOOD website!!!! I fully agree with what the critic of this movie has said. If you want to find a good man out there and want our boys to become good men, then stop shoving garbage down their throats and thinking it is funny!!!!!

What does being Christian have anything to do with your ability to review a movie??

In response to the previous comment, it is a movie reviewer's JOB to view movies of different styles and genres. Also, if you have been in this site longer than a week, you would know that this reviewer has reviewed other R-rated movies favorably. I was actually surprised at a few.

As for the comment that "you can be Christian and normal", what is normal? We are called to be "in the world, but not OF it".

I, for one, like to read the reviews from Crosswalk, another Christian movie reviewer, and a few secular reviewers as well. I find that the Christian reviewers are the more balanced and unbiased, as the secular reviewers will bow to the more base human nature.

If you want to be normal, that's fine by me. I prefer to live to a Higher Standard...or try to.

If this website is "So Christian" then why bother reviewing an "R" rated movie???? It appears the author of this review, probably knew what she was getting into after seeing the previews on television....an "R" rated movie having sex and bad language...gee what a concept? I think the author is more upset with the fact that no man on this earth could tolerate her. The author gives the impression that she is a good Christian woman with great family values....these are the people (like certain Republican Senators) that get caught soliciting sex in restroom stalls or have a computer filled with downloaded kiddie porn. Wake up people. You can be Christian and normal at the same time. There is no need for hating people that are different than you whether they are straight, gay, black, white, orange, or are pro-life or pro-choice. And if I seemed to harsh on the author of this review, my right as a U.S citizen. Censor that!
