I was quite surprised to read your review of this very dark film. I personally have not seen it, but just the advertisements on TV were troubling enough to make me decide not to see it. My 27 year old son saw it and he said it was very troubling and he even used the word evil. I will tell you nothing really shocks this young man so it must have been really troubling. He was surprised at the PG13 rating. He even said he could understand why Heath Ledger was taking so many pain pills to ease his troubled mind after working in this film. Many will go to see this because it was Ledger's last work and because of the Batman legacy. How sad we have reached such a low point in our culture that films like these are considered "entertainment."

I have seen more discernment from the secular sources, I cannot believe this positive review. This movie is poison and to allow your kids and maybe even yourself to see this is foolish. The evil here is over the top, another large step downward in our culture's appetite for death and darkness. Have we stooped this low to need this stuff for entertainment? Are we so callous? God help us, wretched people we are... forgive us.
