Just came from the cinema and watched the movie. it isnt really what majority expects it be. like how faith distructing De Vinci was.

Yes, it is more violent shouldnt have been rated PG13. But the movie end up triumphantly portraying the power of faith, grace, and that he wouldnt allow the enemy to destroy His children who puts their hope in Him.

We Christians should always see how the Lord could use things(even the one's that are not meant to) to show His grace and glory.

I'm of the opinion that any time you hear or see or understand the truth of God in any context, God wills it. It follows that this movie should be seen by anyone who is interested in being entertained, and should be celebrated by Christians if it illustrates biblical truths, regardless of it's origin, cast, crew, or the circumstances under which it was made.

i strongly believe that as Christians we must be aware and vigilant on what is happening around us. crosswalk giving a review on "angels and demons" is just the right thing to do. to keep us Christians 'informed' and 'aware'. not knowing the enemy will keep us blind in the war. not being able to defend our own faith with full armor.

i will watch angels and demons, not to subject my self on the power of the enemy but to show him that a child of Jesus doesnt take such movie a threat to her belief but a defeated attemp again.

I guess the question is, Do Dan Brown and Ron Howard deserve our attention and money after trashing Christianity in The Da Vinci Code? How long are Christians going to continue pouring God's money into a godless Hollywood so they can give us films that don't attack Christianity outright? This reviewer acts like we should be rejoicing because Hollywood has thrown us a few crumbs. I will admit that he has piqued my curiosity, and if I have time I may see the film. But I think it's time Christians took stock of who their friends are and who their enemies are. Christ said that if you're not for Him, you're against Him; and if you're not against Him, you're for Him. That's pretty black and white. You can't be mildly in favor of Christ, which is what Ron Howard seems to be. Dan Brown, on the other hand, seems to be animately anti-Christ. I don't know how you can smooth that over and make it palatable to real Christians. Waitsel Smith

Do I have to see every movie before I can offer an opinion on it? This is Dan Brown, that's enough for me. It's the same reason why I will never read any of Phillip Pullman's books or see his films. I know where he stands concerning religion just as I know where Dan Brown stands. That makes any possible redemptive qualities completely worthless and moot.

I'm disappointed in Christians today. We're so willing to just set aside any possible reasons for not watching a movie, just for a little entertainment. Sometimes, it's actually worth saying "No, I won't see this movie." There are plenty of other films with redemptive qualities. We don't need to support a film like "Angels and Demons." I feel the same way about any and all Stephen King books and movies.

If an action by a Christian might cause a fellow believer to stumble, than it's better not to take that action. And that conviction should bleed over into everything, including movies. Think twice and ask the Lord.

I'm always amazed that people critique movies they haven't even seen. Do you people sense even a moment's pause before you choose to post that kind of comment? What if this movie really does have a redemptive value? I personally like supporting movies with a good message, regardless of whether the people behind it know how eternal that message really is. In fact, I think that's one of the points this movie makes, but you wouldn't know that since you haven't seen it...

Why is Crosswalk promoting this movie??? It was disconcerting to me to pull up the website and see the promotion. It's one thing to give a review, it's another thing to promote the movie on a Christian website. I am not appeased by the notion that it looks at the positive interplay between science and faith. It is still based on a book written by Dan Brown. And why should any Christian put any money in Dan Brown's pocket?

And yet this "Christian" website has been promoting the "Angels & Demons" movie for the past 3 weeks...
