Enchanted a Healthy Mix of Reality and Fairy Tale

I watched the movie and it was good. The Lord has been working in my heart in the movie/tv area and watching the movie was good practice after finalizing my standards. It was a cute movie, yes, but was it edifying to our Christian minds? I found things wrong with it, the sexual suggestions, and the immodesty are the main things. I found other things as well such as the music was a little beaty. I have classified those kinds of movies as 'time wasters' and something you need to watch with the right heart. I have started to evaluate movies or tv shows when I watch them and pick out all the things that go against the Bible. There is a VERY slim chance it would make it into the yea, it's fine all the way through in my book. Sermon messages would be the best to watch. But an occasional movie IS fun, just make sure you are not laughing at things that mock God and Christianity. And be cautious of what you are watching.

I enjoyed this movie, but I do agree there were a few hints at some sexual things. For instance, the girl falling on the man (in her bath towel), and when the biker guy answered the door and smiled at the guy (I think this was hinting that he may have been gay), and the main character showed a LOT of cleavage. I am a 23 year old girl who knows how much little hints of things can make a difference. I don't think there is any reason not to see this movie, but I would talk to your kids afterwards if you feel it may have crossed the line. :)

Aside from the girl falling on the man, and his girlfriend assuming the worst, I don't recall any heavy sexual content, and highly recommend this movie for families. I thoroughly enjoyed the innocence of the film, just precious. I chalk it up to my new favorite movie.
Additionally, to correct the above article, the girlfriend is 'Nancy'(not "Tess') and is played by Idina Menzel.

The movie was wonderful - however! the previews before the movie were bordering "R" rated. When I discussed this with the theater manager, he explained that the movie previews are sent with the movie - they do not choose them.

Viewer beware - heavy sexual content and language and scenes in the previews - not for family viewing!
