I would have to rank the National Treasure movies as the best of the last 10 years (actually, probably going back even longer than that). The only problem would be which of the movies to rate number one and two! They were both excellent. Several times as I sat in the theater with my kids, I caught myself thinking what a great movie this is and asking myself why Hollywood can’t make more of these family friendly films. The messages are so positive and give the audience an appreciation of this great nation’s history, traditions, and the ideals and patriotism of the leaders that often seem so lost today. Add to that a touch of Indiana Jones style puzzle solving treasure hunting and adventure and you have a real winning combination. I am so looking forward to the next one. (Of course, the movie ended with an opening to a follow-up.)

This movie, while perhaps entertaining, lacks "critical aspects" (as in you the critique) of the conflicts between Christianity and the world of the Free Masons. If you do not understand the Free Mason's then you need to research what they actually stand for (not what your uncle may have told you) and see this 2nd movie as the subtle satanic propaganda that it is.
