A Gentle Answer
- Friday, March 21, 2014
There are so many times when we will have the opportunity to not only avoid conflict but bring peace. How do we do this? By our gentleness. We avoid entering into conflict, seeking instead to understand another person and perhaps even to minister to their need in some way. When they are critical or harsh with us we follow the Scriptural counsel, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1).
