A Touch of Tenderness

A Touch of Tenderness

A reading of the Gospels shows Jesus celebrating with His friends, but also shows Him reaching into people’s lives and offer a touch of kindness and tenderness. The Prince of Peace is seen repeatedly offering tenderness and kindness. In one scene He looks over his beloved Jerusalem and says, “Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like a sheep without a shepherd” (Matthew 9:6). Not only did he care about the City, but the people—and He cares just as much about you and me.
