Create Safety for Others
- Wednesday, June 18, 2014
As you relate to others, do you create safety for them? Do you create an environment where they feel safe to share their deepest needs with you? We read in the Gospel of Mark that Christ saw the crowd and had compassion for them (Mark 6:34). He said they seem like sheep without a shepherd. What if your mate, or friend, needs someone who will act with compassion toward them? What if they are floundering and need wise guidance? You may be the person God intends to bring peace and safety to another. Are you willing to be God’s instrument of safety and compassion to another?
