Getting Rid of Anger

Perhaps you have been hurt and have suffered an injustice. You are angry and ruminate over your sense of unrighteousness. We are called to not harbor anger, as it hurts no one but us. “Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools” (Ecclesiastes 7:9). While we need to protect ourselves, we must take care not to be quickly provoked or to hold onto anger. Anger causes us to act and think foolishly and no good end will come of it. Are you prone to anger? Allow the spirit of God to change your heart.
