Giving Up Our Position
- Monday, July 08, 2013
No, I’m not talking about a position at our workplace or church. I’m talking about a point of view that sets us against others. When we take a position, grab hold of a point of view and let it become rigid, we take on an adversarial relationship with others. This is a lonely place to be. Scripture tells us, “Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position” (James 1: 9). Our position needs to be one of humility.
