When the going gets tough, we need to remind ourselves that there is a way to be peaceful, in the midst of our storms. Isaiah has these words for us: “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3). In the middle of your struggles, do you keep your mind focused on God and how He wants you to view your situation? It is very tempting to focus solely on your problems, but that will most certainly bring you down. Reorient your mind to the One who is able to calm the storm and bring peace to our troubled hearts. He knows what you are going through and has your best in mind.
