Refresh the Heart
- Wednesday, November 21, 2012
Candy had been praying for her friend Korina, for a very long time. Korina and her husband were missionaries in Sudan. There were long periods of time where Candy did not hear from her friend. Candy was quite worried.
The news was full of all kinds of disruptions in the Sudan area. Candy was committed to continue to pray for her friend. A small group of people from Candy’s church was planning a mission trip to the same area as Korina and her husband.
Candy requested they try and visit Korina and her husband if at all possible. Just knowing they would do their best to make a connection brought her great joy and refreshed her spirit.
(Philemon 1:20) Yes, brother, let me benefit from you in the Lord; arefresh my heart in Christ.
