Rid Yourselves of Malice

We don’t hear much talk about malice. Malice—a desire to cause harm to another—is spoken of strongly in Scripture. “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgave you” (Ephesians 4:31-32). What kinds of malice have you hidden in your heart? Have you secretly wished harm on someone with whom you’ve held a grudge? Ask God to help you let it go, cultivating a clean and pure heart.
