Saying ‘No’

Saying ‘No’

I have a hard time saying ‘no’ to things. Subsequently, my plate fills up to overflowing, cheating myself, others and especially those in my immediate family. There is a time to say ‘no’ to perfectly good ideas and possibilities, leaving room for the existing activities to be even more productive. Scripture offers an example from nature to illustrate this principle—“Every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful” (John 15:2). Where do you need to say ‘no’ in your life today?
