I’m shocked at how our senses are flooded with dour news, horror and drama that could fill us with fear. Yet, there is also so much good around us. Scripture tells us “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on such things” (Philippians 4:8). Would you join with me in limited your intake of things that cause us to feel discouraged or jaundiced, and rather take in those things that are praiseworthy, sharing those things with others?
