Thank you for writing this article. It brought memories of my daughter, Samantha Nickole. Samantha was diagnosed with a very rare bone condition 5 months before she was born. The doctors said she probably would die before she was born, while being born, or shortly after. They suggested my wife and I have her aborted. I firmly and boldly, without hesitation, said to the medical staff, "We're Christians and don't believe in abortion. That is not for you to decide. It's up to God. If He wants to heal her, He will. If not, we will take care of her the best we can."
Samantha was born on July 4, 2002 and went to be with her Father on July 6, 2002. God blessed us with more than the seconds or hours the doctors thought we would only have with her. God is BIG. It still hurts from time to time. The little paragraph before the scripture regarding the 13 diamonds really put me in tears. I didn't care that I was at work. I'm going to forward this to my wife who's at home. Thank you again. Chris
