BUT--I was most displeased to see NO mention of STANDING when the flag (an official flag of the US, 13 stripes, 50 stars) is brought forth.
Anyone who can, yet does not, stand when the flag is presented, even in passing in a parade, is guilty of a huge breach of ettiquette which calls into question their patriotism.
And it is NOT bad manners to point that out.
