Just retired from a high-paying job to focus on with my kids (teens). Being with my children 24/7 is a rewarding and very fulfilling experience, though, I miss earning my own money. After reading your write-up, I am more convinced that I am doing the right thing and should stick with my conviction.

This article was very insightful for me. I realized that I had lost my joy of being a mother and had become a complainer over doing the same things day in and day out. Thinking that nobody appreciated what I was doing! With the help of the children you interviewed; it helped me to see that maybe my children do notice what I've been doing all the years out of love for them! I truly hope and pray so!
