One thing I would add, is daily tell your children what the bible says about situations. The reason is when we give our children the biblical foundations and solutions to situations as they get older they will look to the Word for answers. Ultimately we are raising our children not be just be obedient here on earth but to listen for and be obedient to the voice of God.
