Warning Shots: Is Anybody Listening?

Thank you, good article, great questions. I fear that as a movement evangelicals have become enamored with their earthly success, frutrated with their spiritual weakness, and packaged into a cultural defination of American Evangelicalism which is seemingly disconnected from both our society and classical protestant biblical faith. Issues and popular leaders draw us into spiritual and cultural battles, sometimes at the expense of our own spiritual health. "The thing I feared most, has come upone me" so goes the old proverb, and indeed for many evangelical issues it seems that our fears drive us into battles unprepared and in our own strength we are defeated.
