I don't think you can honestly claim that the bible is the "world’s most beautiful literature containing the most perfect moral code ever devised".

Have you read it properly?

This article is a great help! I now know what else I can add to when people ask me why I believe in GOD and how I know that GOD IS REAL!
GOD BLESS!

In deferiance to the author, the Bible is "very" specific about the time frame for the creation days. In the Hebrew text, the word for "day" is YOM. It can mean 1)time indefinite, 2)"solar" day, 3)age or epoch. If accompanied by a "number", as in Genesis 1:5, it can only meam a 24 hour day. E + M 1 YOM = "evening and morning of 1 day". Please do not get into the habit of "expanding" on the time period, since this only plays into the hands of the "evolutionists", and distorts the inerrant truth that is the Bible. God bless,

Replying to Croesch...

You believe that the universe "Just happenend"? Really? The incredible complexities of our life, our cells, everyhting...just out of thin air? What about entrophy? Laws of Thermaldynamics? Can you for certain state, that you have searched the entire cosmos, under every rock, nook and cranny, and say that there is no God?

Important to recognize, here, that the author, Whitney Hopler, is doing more of a book report on a new work by Alex McFarland, so the "claims" she makes are probably paraphrased from the source material.

I think that this was generally a good article. The concepts are clearly presented and accurate. However I have some gripes about the terminology.

If we are trying to persuade evolutionists, we must use accurate terminology that avoids confusion. Hopler states, "the theory of evolution mistakenly claims that those adaptations can actually result in the creation of new species". Hopler should have used the term "kinds" rather than "species". Biologists now say that a new species has formed whenever an existing species undergoes a geographical separation. They have observed the formation of new species. Of course, this does not help the case for "evolution".

This essay by Whitney Hopler is fatally flawed. The first casualty of faith is objectivity. Ms. Hopler makes blanket statements without substantiation (AKA propaganda). For example, the statement that all creations must have a creator is misleading in that it implies the universe was created. There's no proof of that. It just happened. Along with many other parallel universes. The low probability principle doesn't hold water becasue this universe can exist on only this probability. And one cannot judge validity by measuring against the bible because the bible cannot be taken literally. The earth is NOT just 6,000 years old, faith in Jesus does NOT protect one from snakes and poisons, there are no 10-headed sea monsters, and Jesus did NOT return in the first generation as promised. There is no evidence of on-going supernatural manipulation of the universe. But if there were, it should be easy to prove. Start with this. Flip a coin 1,000 times praying for heads.
