The article makes some very good points and well worth the read. I have only one suggestion and that is that the author may be frustrating many readers who would prefer a less difficult to read article. From writing jobs I have had in the past the general rule was to write at no more than a grade 7 level as that is the comfortable reading level of the majority of general population. Just a suggestion so more people will get the full benefit of a very good article.
