I was raised on very emotional sermons, not always biblicly correct in content, but when I look back on my life I notice that God ultimately brings me to truth (Jesus). Not to say that accuracy is not important, it is. Jesus said to the scribes that '(Ye) search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they (the scriptures) testify of Me (Christ). The whole of scripture is a raising of our emotions, will and passion to reveal Jesus Christ alone. "The First and Primary Object." Great article.
