When I first clicked this article, I expected it to be about the dangers of preaching in the sense that those that preach the word are judged by a more strict standard according to the word of God. It is however, alarming to note, that you were actually referring to the physical dangers of it.

I think, as you mentioned, that balance is key. Balance the security/safety with the hospitality/inviting atmosphere. I know it is easier said than done, and I think it is great that you've pointed all this out.
