A Beautiful Life

In a nutshell: Jason Allen Rich was honing his skills as a worship leader long before his Season 7 stint on American Idol made him a recognizable name. But it is the blending of both experiences that balance his debut album. Combining fervent lyrics of supplication with spot-on musical performances, A Beautiful Life boasts a batch of vertically pointed, radio-ready tunes. There's nothing revolutionary on this record, but considering all six songs were self-penned, A Beautiful Life is personal and feels authentic. Consider this a noteworthy introduction from the former reality TV music star and one of CCM's bright new talents.
