Let Your Love Out

In a nutshell: Leading up to the release of his debut CD, Luke Benward has often been referred to as the actor from Because of Winn Dixie and How To Eat Fried Worms, but he is also a third generation singer (following in the footsteps of father Aaron and grandfather Jeffrey). Given that lineage, it's easy to understand how the 13-year-old is able to be so far beyond his years when it comes to a confident vocal delivery that's further amplified by shimmering production. Sans a disposable cover of Steve Winwood's "Higher Love," Benward excels—especially with a tribute to his mother, "Everyday Hero," and the evangelism-themed "Let Your Love Out."??
