In a nutshell: It's doubtful that there are many young performers today wanting to sound like a Christian version of Britney Spears. But if there are, they'll have to get in line behind this 14-year-old phenom. This five-song disc is replete with Auto-Tuned vocals, splashy hip-hop inspired beats, and modern production techniques that would make these songs slot in nicely with Top 40 radio. But in one way, they'd surely stand out. Not many chart-topping singers make overt inspirational paeans to God as Jasmine does here. For tweener pop, this disc gets the job done right—providing the type of upbeat, sing-along anthems perfect for summertime listening.
