In a nutshell: On her debut album, Jade Harrell flitters, flirts and flies over a bed of 13 tracks of radio-ready dance pop, '60s inspired R&B, and glammy space rock. It's an audacious move for the first disc by this Florida native, but Harrell has the musical and vocal chops to handle candlelit expressions of faith, odes to her radio and even a Doobie Brothers cover. If this is only the beginning, there is no telling where she goes from here.
