Fearless

Style: Worship-geared pop; compare to Casting Crowns, MercyMe and Rascal Flatts Top tracks: "Revelation Song," "When Grace Walks In," "Nothing to Prove"

In a nutshell: Phillips, Craig & Dean must be the best-selling part-time musicians around. Even after selling over two million records with 18 chart-topping singles, Randy, Shawn and Dan still consider their full-time pastoral duties top priority. Having witnessed congregants' heightened anxieties due to current world crises, the shepherding trio focuses their tenth disc on encouraging true worshippers to stand strong in the faith. Stylistically teetering between artist-driven pop and worship covers, Fearless already has a smash single at radio with the mega-worship hit "Revelation Song." But the story song "Nothing to Prove" toys beautifully with heart-wrenching country balladry, a direction these fellas would be wise to embrace more fully in the future.
