A Saturday morning thought . . .
"The righteous may fall seven times but still get up,
but the wicked will stumble into trouble" (Proverbs 24:16).
If you fall today, you can get up by God's grace. If you fall seven times (the perfect number!), you can still get up. It's not the falling that defines us. It's getting up by the grace of God. You're not a failure just because you fall. You're only a failure if you stay face down on the ground.
Do not despair when you fall, "for the salvations of the Lord are never exhausted" (George Lawson).
Be encouraged, child of God. Your Deliverer is on the way, and you will rise again.
