Hollywood Actor Joins Kurdish Forces to Fight ISIS in Syria

A British actor has reportedly moved to Syria to join Kurdish forces against ISIS. Actor Michael Enright, who appeared in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” left his family and joined the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, according to ABC News

The 51-year-old actor decided to join the Kurdish forces after hearing of the Jordanian pilot who was burned alive by ISIS militants, as well as the U.S. journalists who were beheaded.

Since many of the atrocities were committed by British ISIS member Mohammed Emwazi, or “Jihadi John,” Enright felt indebted to America and wanted “to help right a wrong.”

"They need to be wiped off completely from the face of this earth. I didn’t come here to run, I came here to fight and if I have to die, then I die. I didn’t come here to play games,” Enright said.

ABC reports Enright has learned about Islam since moving to Syria and charged his name to Mustafa Michael Ali.
