Joel Osteen Makes Appearance in Rapper's New Album

Joel Osteen’s ministry is now being found in a surprising place -- a newly-released rap song.

Charisma News reports Osteen’s preaching appears in rapper Slim Thug’s new album “Hogg Life Volume 2: Still Surviving.” Osteen is heard in the song “Chuuch.”

The celebrity pastor says in the song, "I want to talk to you today about the right people. Who you spend your time with will have a great impact on what kind of life you live. There are people God has already ordained to come across our path to help us fulfill our destiny. People who inspire us, challenge us, make us better."

He preaches for about the first minute of the song, then Slim Thug starts rapping, according to Charisma. Osteen’s preaching reappears throughout the song.

The televangelist did not collaborate with Slim Thug on the project, but the rapper, whose real name is Stayve Jerome Thomas, is a member at Osteen’s Lakewood Church
